From Oct. 7 till Oct. 29, families can experience spookiness and fun with Scary Prairie: the Wild West Halloween adventure for all ages during daytime. On eight nights in October, the park will remain open until 10 p.m. for visitors with nerves of steel. During Western Nightmares, guests will face the dark side of the Wild West.

Crows Nest

Crows take over the straw

A whole flock of crows infests the agricultural land, it is a real plague. The straw storage has been taken over by a mean crow. Are you brave enough to enter his straw nest maze? Make sure he doesn't cheat on you! There is a special spell that can make this crow fly away. Can you unravel the spell and scare the crow away?

Where the wacky cowboys live

Behind the Main Street, an alley leads you to the camp of Slagharen's craziest characters. This camp of outcasts is a funny, scary but above all intriguing place of the wildest characters of the west. They are known for their crazy habits. When you enter this area there is a good chance that you will not want to leave!

The family Bones home

"Welcome to our home! Before you go in, we have to tell you that our family has lived in this house for over 150 years. Yes, we are that old! Anyway, Halloween has a special place in our hearts. Finally, some visitors who aren't afraid of some skeletons!" Can you make the Bones family laugh by scaring them?

Main Street

Feel the Western Spirit

A multitude of wandering souls wander among the shops on Main Street. Can you recognize them? Their goal? A game of trick or treating with you! The 'Western Mayor' is relatively easy to find. He stands on stage and asks everyone to vote for him as the new mayor. He is competing with 'Pumpkin Mayor' this year. Are you convinced by his speech?

Here is everything Pumpkin cool

The inhabitants of this part of the prairie are cheerful, funny and living pumpkins. There's a Halloween celebration going on. A band is playing the Pumpkin market song and the cook is preparing his favorite soup. No, of course not pumpkin soup, but tomato soup. Explore the market and see some pumpkin houses.

Be aware of the Red Bandits

The famous Red Bandits plague this area. When you think of bandits, you think of rough individuals involved in trafficking, intimidation and other illegal activities. But today there is a strange atmosphere around them that is reinforced by the eerie events that occur after 6 p.m. Even they seem shocked. Therefore, be careful when approaching these bandits!

Western Nightmares: 8 really scary evenings for the daredevils

It's six minutes and six seconds past six. Dusk falls. Visitors can prepare to come face to face with the dark side of the Wild West. What seemed cheerful and innocent during the day turns out to be one big Western Nightmare. Seventy actors will do everything they can to give guests the nightmare of their lives in three terrifying walkthroughs and three scare zones. The recommended age for Western Nightmares is 14 years and older.

Important information!

On October 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28, the park is open until 10 p.m. and Western Nightmares takes place from 6:06 p.m.

We recommend an age of 14+ for this. If desired, families can leave the park via an alternative route.

Vengeful pumpkins emerge from the shadows. They are ruthlessly seeking revenge. With a ghostly purpose, they seek out the most fearful souls, ready to harvest them in their special grasp. Beware of their chilling presence, for their pursuit knows no bounds.

We all know who the Red Bandits are. But some legendary bandits from the past have the name 'the lost bandits'. These bandits are the founders of the current Red Bandits. This area is increasingly deserted, an ominous feeling threatens to overwhelm you. What or who is more lost in this area?

Enjoy a Halloween buffet at Big Jake

During the 8 evenings in October that we are open until 10 p.m., you can enjoy a delicious 'family friendly' Halloween buffet between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

In Big Jake you can enjoy the tastiest dishes with of course a Halloween twist. How about Spagetti Bolognese with eyeballs, breadsticks with nails or frikandel mummies for the children? Beware of the scary residents of Big Jake who also want to eat something!

The costs are €31.00 p.p. for adults and €15.50 for children aged 4 - 12 years old (children up to and including 3 years old are free and do not need to make a reservation). To guarantee capacity, we require a deposit of €10 per person, which will be deducted from your account after your visit. The costs of drinks are at your own expense. Coffee and tea are included in the price.
